Mr. Blicken was a Shakespearean poet who wandered too close to Columbia University and became influenced by the beats. He never recovered. Some say he was an influence on Bob Dylan, though it is documented that Bob Dylan never read any of Mr. Blicken's poetry, and at the time of this writing, still hasn't.
