Busybody on the Train


You're overhearing conversations and you're
overhearing conversations and you're
overhearing conversations,
over and over, overhearing conversations,
the same conversations,
conversation over conversation
so you can't make out the conversation
you were overhearing, the conversation
about a conversation,
so you turn to the window,
like you might escape into the night,
but there on the window
is condensation.
